Human Rights on Nationwide FM90’s Mediation Wednesdays at 1pm with Georgia Crawford-Williams

What is the right thing to do here? Which rights are being violated here? What would you do?

These are all questions that can be answered under the umbrella of human rights in the RAP sponsored Mediation Wednesdays with Georgia Crawford-Williams – a thought-provoking discussion centred on human rights, on Nationwide 90FM every Wednesday at 1pm.

Each week, the show poses a real-life scenario to prompt a discussion of human rights. Under the guidance of the dynamic and well-informed radio host Georgia Crawford-Williams, guest experts - human rights advocates, lawyers, agency representatives and callers will add their perspectives to the discussion.

Always lively and often contentious, the call-in show, which began in mid-August, is slated to run until December 16 this year.  In this period “Mediation Wednesdays” sponsored by RAP will cover all of the 30 rights enshrined in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

"Mediation Wednesdays is a much needed open forum on human rights”, says RAP Project Manager, Anna-Lisa Walcott. "We hope many will join the discussion.”
