The British Council is deepening its work in literature in the Caribbean by introducing audiences to the best of British writers and professionals in the UK literary community. Collaborating with literary festivals and tertiary level institutions to build capacity for independent writers and journalists working with media houses is strengthening skills and growing audiences while creating new opportunities for writers in the UK to work internationally, positioning the UK as a leader in literature.
