The British Council Caribbean is delighted to welcome Don Warrington, a Trinidadian-born British actor to be part of the ttff. Warrington will be present at the screening of King Lear and for the Q+A at the ttff.
He will offer Acting Workshops at the Trinidad and Tobago Theatre Workshop for actors, actresses and expert practitioners and another workshop at UWI for university students. Warrington played King Lear in Talawa Theatre Company's production of William Shakespeare's play in 2015 which critics described as a "heartbreaking tour-de-force". Don Warrington was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2008.
