British Council no longer offers in-person IELTS exams in Cuba due to the current operating circumstances.
However, we will be offering IELTS Online (Academic version only) as an alternative for those who need to take the IELTS exam in the future. IELTS Online tests can be taken anytime, and results are available within six to eight days. Many UK and overseas institutions fully accept an IELTS Online score as evidence of English language proficiency, though you should confirm this with the institution to which you are applying. Registrations for IELTS Online will be enabled early in 2025.
