Important Notice:
The British Council is not currently offering in-person IELTS tests in the Dominican Republic. However, you can still take IELTS Online (Academic) from home. The test content and format are the same as an IELTS Academic test taken at a test centre; and your speaking test will take place with a trained examiner by video call. Results are available within 6–8 days.
IELTS Online is accepted by many universities and organisations worldwide. We recommend confirming acceptance directly with the institution where you plan to apply.
