Make sure you have a valid identification document

To complete your registration you must present a valid personal identification document (Elector Registration Identification Card or passport) which you must present on your test day; If you do not present your document, you will not be able to take your test or be eligible for a refund.

If you are a minor, you must be registered with a valid passport. The registration must be in your name, documents of your parents or legal guardians will not be accepted. And you must complete and sign the IELTS Minor Consent Form and Consent form for children to leave the premises alone at the end of the test.

The IELTS test is not recommended for children under 16 years of age.

Payment

You can pay through our online registration system.

Credit card payment

To pay for your IELTS test through our online registration system you must use one of the following credit cards:

  • MasterCard
  • Visa

You will have up to 24 hours to make the payment, otherwise your booking will be cancelled (if it is the closing day for registration you must make the payment immediately).

Please note that some banks may add a 'bank fee for international purchases' to the price for credit card purchases.

Get your test date confirmation

After you register and your payment is approved you will receive:

  • An automatic email with your access to the free online preparation recources IELTS Ready: Premium.
  • Your reference number to access the IELTS Test Taker Portal.
  • An email confirming the start time of the two parts of the test (written and oral), as well as the address of the place where you will take your test. This will be sent on the second working day after the closing date for registration.

You could take your speaking test from one to three days before or after the written test. You will be notified in advance of the date and time of the speaking test.
